Best Mother's Day Ever

I had the absolute best Mother's Day ever!  My little monkey decided to give me the most wonderful and timely gift...walking!  Apparently, he woke up this morning and decided today was the day to make it official.  He's been cruising for months and slowly increasing the number of steps he takes. This morning, though, he got courageous and went for it.  He has been walking all over the place today!  The best part about it is that he is just so happy to be so mobile.  Today was the best day we've had in a long time...no tantrums, no crying, nothing!  I've felt so challenged lately, as he's entered this difficult stage, but I feel so blessed today and thankful that God finally listened to my prayers (even if it's only for one day!).  Happy Mother's Day to me!!

He couldn't get enough of walking back and forth between us.
We had a very special day planned today.  We had a delicious breakfast at Good Morning Mama's then headed downtown.  We walked along the canal and went to an Indians game.  It was such a beautiful day!  I couldn't have asked for more!

Oliver very intently watching the ducks.

Still watching the duck...

My monkey and me

I love this city!

Eating good old American baseball food!

My two favorite guys...

We basically paid to get into the stadium so he could walk around and around and around... :)

Still going strong...

He finally decided we could take a break!

Not for long, though! He's on his way back to the pavement!

Chillin' with Daddy...

Back at it...

Look at me!  I'm walking!
I love this dude...
and am so proud to be his Mama!
Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!  Hope you all had a day just as special as mine!

Happy Easter!

This year wasn't technically Oliver's first Easter since it fell so late last year, but I definitely consider it his first. He was only 5 days old last Easter! Now that he's a bit older, we were able to head north to South Bend to see our families. This little monkey slept for most of the drive.

We got to visit with Uncle Deron and Aunt Jodi for awhile before the actual festivities began. We also got to meet baby Jameson for the first time! These two were a riot together. Oliver wasn't sure what to do with him and vice versa!

Oliver got to experience his first Kaczorowski Easter at Corpus Christi. I think he enjoyed watching all the bigger kids play in the gym. I'm sure he'll be joining them next year!

Our little family of 3, getting ready for Oliver's first Easter egg hunt...

Once he found one egg, he was quite content! He just wanted to sit down and shake it...ha!

Still just has the one egg...

Checking out all his goodies with Uncle Deron...

Baby Jameson, looking handsome in his Easter best...

Thankfully, we took Oliver's walker so he could tool around...

Hanging out with his Godmother, Amy...

Thank you, Pinterest, for giving me such a creative cake idea! Ignore the Christmas platter that it's on...lol!

Later in the day, we went to my brother's house to celebrate with my side of the family. We had more delicious food and Oliver got a really cute Easter basket full of goodies from Aunt Fay. Gigi also brought us an Easter basket from South Bend Chocolate, my favorite...yum! We had a really nice Easter with both sides of our family. Hope you all did too!

Thanksgiving at Pokagon

This past weekend, Oliver spent his first of many Thanksgivings at Pokagon State Park. We had a terrific time swimming, hiking, hanging out by the bonfire, eating delicious food and spending time with family.

Oliver was spoiled by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins...everyone wanted to hold him! Here he is hanging out with his cousin, Elizabeth...

and his grandma and grandpa...

and his daddy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween!

Oliver wants to wish everyone a spooktacular Halloween! He didn't go trick-or-treating this year because he outgrew his costume 3 months ago :) Here he is sporting all his original Halloween duds that I purchased before he was born. Unfortunately, he fit into them back in July when he was 3 months old :(

Here he is now, wearing all his new Halloween clothes!

Happy Halloween!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Even though Oliver was only 5 days old, the Easter Bunny still made sure to pay him a visit this year! In honor of the occasion, he got all decked out in his Easter outfit and kept his Easter basket close by.

He wasn't too sure about this bunny, though. They had a staring contest that lasted quite awhile.

He seemed to like hanging out with this bunny that belonged to his daddy when he was younger...though, this bunny has definitely seen better days!

Overall, we had a nice, quiet Easter at home. Thanks to Don's mom, we even got to enjoy an Easter dinner, even if we couldn't be near family this year.
