A Visit from Old Friends

A few weeks ago, our close friends, the Gosney's, came to visit from Ohio. This was their first time meeting Oliver. Olivia was terrific with him...I think I may need to hire her as a babysitter one day!

It was so nice to catch up with old friends and introduce them to the newest member of the family!

Oliver is 2 Months Old!

Oliver turned 2 months old a few days ago! Here's what he is up to...

Weight: 15 lbs. 1 oz.
Height: 25 1/2 inches
What he's wearing: Size 2 diaper, 6 month clothes
Special tricks: Oliver smiles all the time and has begun laughing in the past couple of days...melts my heart! He loves to chew on his hands and drool all over the place. He no longer wants to lay down...he has amazing neck control so he now prefers to sit up (with a little help, of course!). He is also quite squirmy...he loves to kick his legs!
Eating: Every 3 1/2 hours
Sleeping: Goes to bed around 8-8:30, eats at 10:00 (I wake him up) and sleeps until 5:00 a.m. or so. He will go right back to sleep until 8:00 a.m. then. He still doesn't really nap much during the day unless we're in the car a lot.
Activities: Oliver still loves to hang out with the other babies at our mom's group. He also really enjoys tummy time and batting at toys above his head. I think his favorite activity right now, though, is watching our faces and listening to us make silly noises.

Oliver is such a fun and happy baby! His daddy and I are having so much fun watching him grow and do new things every day!

Family Reunion 2011

Over Memorial Day weekend, Oliver got to meet a whole bunch of family members at the Flournoy Family Reunion. We all got together in Muncie to celebrate Grandma Flournoy's 80th birthday. PawPaw, Nini, Uncle Noah and Uncle Brock came from Georgia, and other family members came from Tennessee, Ohio and New Hampshire.

Oliver got to spend a lot of time being loved on, especially by these dudes...

Sunday Mass

Last weekend, Oliver got dressed in his Sunday best for his very first trip to church. He did awesome...slept through the entire Mass. He and his daddy looked very handsome!
